Here we have a very nice honest example of a 1972 1200 Beetle. We think a late 1200 model is a unique cool thing, due to the crossover of early features such as small rear lights, front horn grills… aswell as many 1200 only parts that make this particular model special.
Our example here retains all of its originality down to its correct Firestone tyres and one of our favourite features which is EVERY bit of glass is stamped with the reg! That alone shows this car has been looked after.
Its bodywork is no show pony, however it is very presentable and despite its imperfections it has an overall very smart look! It’s been previously resprayed in its original colour of L90D Pastel White.
The interior is very tidy and original down to the small 1200 only headliner, rubber floor mats and nice uncut dashboard.
The car drives beautifully, the stock 1200 motor pulls along well and the car provides a good degree of comfort, even the heating works!!
Overall this is a lovely unmessed with example which for £3.99 anyone would be happy with! It’s a real blank canvas you could use and improve on or modify… we cannot deny this would look good low…
