Introducing what we think could be our favourite Beetle yet!
This is a really cool 67 model Beetle (Made November 66) in its beautiful original colour 67 only colour Zenith blue.
The paint looks great overall with the odd imperfection as you’d expect, this is an older restoration from about 8 years ago but still looking fab! It’s solid as a rock, having had new channels, floors and much more. Recently having a good old wax oil.
The engine is the matching numbers original H code 1500, and runs like a beauty and pulls like a train (not HS 2) Benefitting from some upgrades such as electronic ignition and al alternator.
Suspension wise this car’s been treated to a 4 inch narrowed beam with disc brakes. Dropped spindles are also added. It has adjustable Koni shocks all round and the rear is clicked 2 splines down. This is a fantastic height, low enough to look low but still practical enough to use! Of course the suspension is adjustable if you’re feeling brave!
The interior of the car is beautiful, the original 67 features all present, such as the seat adjusters, door locks, quarter light catches and beautiful 67 dashboard. A new headliner and carpet set have also been fitted. Despite slight ripping to the drives seat this is a nice place to be!
Overall this is a really cool bug, fully sorted and in our option looks perfect. Ready for some summer evening cruising.
