1967 Volkswagen Beetle

Here we have a marvellous example of a UK 1967 Ruby Red Beetle! Now as some of you know 66 and 67 Bugs are special being “one year only” and feature some special parts like the rear deck lid, door handles, seats… however our “67” is pretty cool, as it was built in August 66 making it a 67 model yet being built mainly from 66 parts… notice the thin side trim specific to a 67 yet most other features being of a 66.

The car is extremely original down to its rubber matts, date stamped wheels, and mostly original Ruby Red paint… the paint won’t be winning you awards but we think has an aged look giving a nice unrestored vibe.

The car has recently had a fully rebuilt 1500 engine fitted and its purrs like a kitten, flying along happily with that Aircooled whistle. Oh the heaters work and it doesn’t leak oil!

The bodywork on this beauty is absolutely rock solid! It’s certainly a good sturdy one that won’t be racking up a welding bill!

Everything works as it should, including the brakes which were also gone through recently and work brilliant.

The last owner had this car for 20 years and it was their pride and joy, this really shows and it’s a great old bug that drives like a dream.

We were tempted to lower this one but thought we’d leave that decision to you!
